I've been in your shoes! I understand betrayal and the deep pain you're experiencing. I was in an abusive/toxic marriage in my late teens/early 20s. I was desperately searching for answers, begging my spouse to change, and numbing my pain in hurtful, unhealthy ways. I felt disconnected, lonely, and betrayed due to infidelity. I even tried seeking advice from friends and family. That didn't work because they didn't know how to help me. So in my own therapy, I learned that boundaries are absolutely necessary, even in marriage!

God helped me learn that I can’t heal what I don’t acknowledge, so I had to get real with God, myself, and others. I had to admit the truth. Which was. I couldn’t fix everything myself. I needed God’s divine intervention to help me. (I still do everyday!) I needed to finally face the reality of what Christ did for me on the Cross. Jesus’s love and conviction compelled me to leave my sin and dysfunction behind. He’s the one who had to do the healing work in me that I couldn’t do for myself. He can do the same for you!
